Royalty, celebrities, the richest and even the lowly had a long-standing fascination with diamonds. They were prominent in many religions and belief system down through the centuries and were worn for protection and good favor as they have for ornament.
Down through the ages diamonds have been found on the armor of great warriors and the crowns of royalty to symbolize wealth, superiority and nonchalance.
The mountain of light

The Blue hope Diamond was stolen sometime in the middle of the French Revolution. It was discovered in the year 1830, in London and was later was purchased by Henry Phillip hope. By Henry Phillip hope was that the Blue Hope Diamond gained its name with a reputation for creating bad luck to its owners. Each Member of the family of hope died in poverty at its properties.
Bad luck seemed to follow the stone, as later owner of hope, Mr blue Edward McLean would see very personal tragedy to the members of his family during his property.
